Arne Jacobsen designed "The Egg" in 1958, as part of a commission for the SAS Royal Copenhagen Hotel in Denmark.
The Egg lounge chair comes fully upholstered in a wide range of fabrics and leather. The star base is made of aluminium, mounted on a satin polished steel pedestal. The shell is made of a synthetic material, padded with a cold-cured foam. A matching footstool is also available.
